One of the best hatching rate. I ordered 5 eggs, 2 were damaged at during posting. Durham hens paid it back for me. Of the 4 eggs, 3 successfully hatched- Thank you so much

2nd time using Durham Hens and as the last it's a simple buying experience online and lovely people to deal with. Hens are always fit and healthy and definitely full of beans. Wouldn't use anywhere else. Oh and if you need advice that's also available too.

Bought over £100 worth of eggs and found 2/3 were infertile! I emailed to notify them of the disappointment I'd found but instead of standing by what they sell they blamed my incubator and took zero responsibility. I'm no expert but incubators don't fertilise the eggs. Over priced rip off it was. Better off getting your eggs of small local breeds

Great service. We got two lovely hens - a light Sussex and a speckled. They are friendly and very calm. We were told it would be a few weeks before they laid. To our surprise one laid within 3 days and the other a week later. They are both laying each day now and the eggs are lovely.

My daughter and I attended the chicken course on 22OCT22, and found it very informative, a worthwhile course prior to owning chickens. We went on to purchase 3 point of lay chickens, the starter kit and additional items (dust bath ect). It's been two weeks since getting the girls, and we are in love. We've had two eggs a day, lots of strokes and laughs. We feel confident that if any issues arise we will have support from Durham Hens to help the girls. Thank you Alec for setting us up on this journey of hen keeping. We look forward to extending our flock!

Bought 8 Pol chickens different varieties all settled in nicely. Even got my first egg, a double yolker the following day

We collected 6 beautiful mixed breed hybrid hens from Durham Hens Saturday 20th June, all doing amazingly well. We are new to chickens, and totally smitten. I’ve seen the odd negative review and I can reassure anyone 100% buy from here. These guys get 100’s of calls and messages a day, you need to be patient, but they are a small but fantastic team and you won’t be disappointed 💕🐣🐥
